Hi, my story is a long one...over a span of years, but in a nutshell, I am a recovered heroin addict. I NEVER would have believed anyone if they said I would be where I am today. It took a lot of assertiveness on my part and many blessings from above.

In 2000, I participated in the Danskin as a first time triathlete. After my divorce, I was searching for something that I could create in my life that would help me feel like I had control. Before that I seemed to get a message from people around me, mainly my ex husband, that I could not achieve what I said I wanted to. So for me training was an amazing outlet and a way to prove to myself that I had the discipline it took to achieve a goal.
